Desuperheaters

The heat exchanger in the discharge, called desuperheater, steals heat from the CO2 reducing the subsequent refrigerant consumption in the evaporator, thus increasing efficiency, while reducing thermal fatigue in the exchanger used as CO2 condenser and evaporator of the other circuit.

The desuperheater is manufactured with a casing made of galvanized steel sheet protected with polymerized and thermosetting paint with high resistance to corrosion and UV of RAL 7004.

The exchange coil is constructed with high quality copper tubing, meeting the strictest safety requirements for CO2 installations.

The fins are made of aluminum with high performance “V Bafle” profile and mechanically expanded for a perfect control between fin and tube.

EC motor fans with a high degree of protection and insulation with diameters ranging from Ø450 to Ø800. We guarantee with this solution a rigorous long-term compliance with energy requirements, as well as significant energy savings thanks to its high efficiency, which results in economic savings by reducing consumption compared to AC fans thanks to an optimal regulation in its operation.

Range standards:

  • Vertical airflow table type or V-type construction, in single row of fans.
  • Structure for mounting on leveled bedplate, anti-vibration mounts recommended (not included).
  • Chassis and casing made of galvanized steel sheet, treated for installation in INTEMPERIE by application of Thermosetting Polyester type Polymer with High Resistance to Ultraviolet Radiation and Corrosion, RAL 7004.
  • THERMAL EXCHANGERS made of reinforced copper tubes and aluminum fins with “V-BAFLE” type profile. Copper collectors, solder connection.
  • Available fin pitches 2.1mm
  • Pressurized exchanger with closed connections and howitzer located at the outlet connection.
  • Design pressure (PS) 60 bar
  • Axial fans with high efficiency aerodynamic blades and EC motor, IP55 protection degree and protection grill.
  • Power supply voltages I-230 50Hz, III-400v, 50Hz
  • Terminal box for fan power supply located on the side of the unit + terminals for alarm and fault signals.
